Monmouthshire Hog Roasts uses locally sourced pigs for our traditional slow cooked oven roast. All our pigs are free range and reared completely outside which allows them the freedom to enjoy their natural environment. It is important to us that we use only the best produce and that the pigs have had a good, well cared-for life. We use all our own high quality equipment, and comply with all of the strictest Food & Hygiene Regulations.

All of our pigs are traditionally slow roasted in a purpose built oven for up to 12 hours. This gives a far superior, tender, succulent result as opposed to companies that spit roast them in half the time.

The Hog Roast is a fantastic way of producing and serving high quality food for large numbers, without breaking the bank. It also produces a terrific theatrical wow-factor. In its simplest form, the bap is filled with generous helpings of roast pork, crisp crackling, sage and onion stuffing and apple sauce. Prices and work can work out as little as £2.60 per person (Depending on numbers). It is perfect for weddings, birthday parties, corporate functions, anniversaries, fund-raising etc.

Many people associate the Hog Roast with summer. In fact it is ideal for all sorts of occasions throughout the year. Having one of our Hog Roasts’ together with a glass of mulled wine is a great way of celebrating at parties around the festive period.
